Hongkong United Dockyards is Hong Kong’s major dockyard and harbour towage operator. The company operates 13 tugs, 6 small container vessels and one floating dock of 40,000 tons lifting capacity supported by steel fabrication and heavy engineering workshops. The company is also an established contractor for industrial companies in the non-maritime sector providing steel fabrication and erection, installation of pipework, heavy electrical and mechanical equipment, the repair and overhaul of electrical machinery, and contract maintenance on a facilities management basis.
