Yiu Lian Dockyards (Shekou) Ltd., was founded in 1989 and has since moved to a new location at MAZHOU Island, at the delta of Pearl River. The shipyard is one of the top-ten ship-repairing yards in China with high expertise in the ship repair and conversion sector, offshore repair & conversion, as well as for ocean engineering works.

With a full range of equipment, Yiulian has successfully completed annual repairs, dry- docking repairs, hull damage repairs, sea damage repairs and conversions, for about 2.000 vessels, with capacity of over 10.000 DWT of different countries all over the world and all semi-submersible rigs for COSL. It has gained high reputation in shipping business resulting from their skillful workmanship, exquisite technique, good quality and excellent services.

The shipyard has vast experience in bulk replacement of steel plates, the conversion of oil tankers from single to double skin, maintenance of machinery equipment, special coating and offshore conversions.

The new shipyard at Mazhou Island, is in a favorable geographical location, facing HongKong to the south, Grangzhou to the north and having open and deep water Marine access, Longgu Fairway, which is under development & has a designed depth of 15.8m and enables a convenient access for ships and heavy Size offshore structures. Shekou Yiulian has successfully completed annual repairs, docking repairs, sea damage repairs of all different kind of vessels from Germany, Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, etc.

In respect of the management, Yiu Lian Dockyards (She Kou) Ltd., is certified to conform to Quality Management System Standard ISO9002, ISO9001:2000, and OHSMS respectively in October 1997, April 2003 and February 2007, which are the best proof of their safety management.
